Some of us at LatexHub—OK, this reviewer specifically—have been surfing the web and enjoying the fact that as fetishists we are not alone since 1995; yet through some amazing fluke never stumbled across Latexotica.com. So the most important thing that we can say is that if you've never been there, read this review, get excited, and then visit their site. You won't regret it. We promise.

The review is divided into 7 parts. How informative/accurate is the preview, ease/comfort of the signup process, production quality, originality, update frequency, renewal process, and the overall impression. Each of these things contributes to the overall rating of the site.

Preview 5/5
As we browsed through the preview section we found we have seen many of these images before and never realized that they were from Latexotica. We've gathered at last a dozen images from eBay auctions for our personal collections that we had thought were actually pictures of the people and the items that we now know were lifted from Latexotica. Bad eBay auctioneers! On the flip side we were more than happy to find more of those pictures as we saved the low quality grainy versions from eBay with great relish.

One of the neat things about Latexotica is that while there is a Tour that walks you through the highlights, non-members can actually view the full content and every single photoset all the way back to May 9, 2002. You just have to be a member to view the gallery itself. This is rather unique (at least unique in our experience) as there is no possibility for surprise as it's all out there for you to look over before you sign up. Even without being a member you can browse the video library and buy the DVDs of shoots you like.

Additionally there are model pages and you can browse the photosets by model. A forum that we think is available for non-members, but we're not sure (we will be checking and updating this review with the info) as we couldn’t' register or log in with our user/pass.

All in all there are no surprises and you will know for sure if you want to sign up by the sheer volume of images and videos on the site that you can see stills and thumbs of.

Signup Process/Price 5/5
The monthly price at Latexotica is $29.99. With photo updates every two days and what appears to be an average of 4 videos a month, you are paying $1.58 per update. That’s a very good value for your fetish dollar. On top of that, subsequent months are only $21.95. We're not huge fans of the higher price the first month, but that’s usually when the first month is a very high price and the rest are what you'd expect. Here the first month is a great deal, and the subsequent months are amazing deals. At the recurring price you are literally paying only $1.10 per update. Your cable probably costs you more per show you actually enjoy.

Latexotica uses CCBill, a reliable, discreet billing company that is used by a variety of vendors on the net. As with any credit card processing company there are complaints against them, but there aren't that many for a company that has been in business for 10 years this June. CCBill is based out of Temple Arizona, and the Better Business Bureau lists them as not having an unusual number of complaints for their industry and are timely in their responses and resolutions.

The Signup process is quick and access is instant. The credit card information is taken over a valid secure connection on CCBill's servers and there are no certificate errors. The security certificate is provided by Thwate, one of the top certificate providers in the business.

Quality of Production/Site 5/5
The quality of the shoots is impeccable. It's hard to say more than that. The scenes are clean and the colors are vibrant and enticing; the models are beautiful and the latex fits them perfectly. The folks at Latexotica understand one of the key principles in quality latex fetish photos and videos: Its gotta be tight! The latex itself is also great. There is a never ending parade of latex catsuits in colors and styles that are both clean and elegant. We also found ourselves enticed by a shoot of model Catalina in latex hotpants (we normally prefer more rubber coverage) simply because of the beauty and elegance.

The models that are involved in the shoots are really beautiful and don't seem aloof or unapproachable. They seem to enjoy the work and the poses are elegant and attractive. One of the quotes listed in the tour sticks in our memory, "What I love about this site is that all the work is done with respect and appreciation to the female form."

Navigation on Latexotica is second to none. You can adjust the results per page, skip ahead to whichever page you want, and even perform searches by keyword and model. Their gallery system is very well done and you can easily download zip files of each gallery. We've been informed that there is a site redesign coming along that will have larger thumbnails and other improvements.

Originality 4.5/5
We're docking half a point here due to the fact that there isn't a huge variety in setting and staging. The images are all fairly standard photoshoot layout. That being said, we actually like clean, no nudity, fetish you could probably see on television the best. But a lot of our readers like a bit of bondage and kink. That 0.5 was the product of much discussion and debate as in this reviewer's mind the pure class of the production and shoots should have earned a 5.5.

As you browse through the sets you may find yourself thinking that it's just a lot of different models in different catsuits, but if you really pay attention to the images and videos you'll see a really impressive progression of presentation and contrast. We haven’t been this excited and enticed in viewing a latex site in some time.

Update Frequency 5/5
This is always a concern of anyone subscribing to a site. Are you going to get fresh content often enough, or are you better off just subscribing once every six months or so. Latexotica puts those fears to rest. They update every other day (yes, you read that right), and you can look through their shoots to see it. They haven’t always updated that frequently, it appears that between 2002 and 2006 they ramped up from updates every 4 days to every 3 and then to every 2 days. One can only hope that someday they'll even go to every day… but honestly, we need a day to recover between updates.

Renewal 5/5
As mentioned above, renewal is at a lower rate of $21.99 and is automatic, standard stuff. Additionally, cancelling with CCBill is easy and in our experience has never been a problem.

Overall Impression 5/5
I wanted to make this 6/5, but I'm not allowed. The models are gorgeous, the latex is amazing, the site has the best navigation of any fetish site we've ever been to, and the updates are more regular than our own excited pulses. On top of all of that, you can purchase DVD's of the photoshoots and great prices and they are even launching their own clothing store. Three words should tell you all you need to know: We're Signing Up.
